I am a fourth year Genetics graduate student in the lab of Polly Fordyce at Stanford University . Prior to attending Stanford, I completed my bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Utah . I have also worked in research positions in the Jorgensen lab (2011-2012 and 2012-2013 academic years), the Kruglyak lab (2012 summer), the Stanfield lab (2013-2014 and 2014-2015 academic years), and the Andersen lab (2013, 2014, and 2015 summers). I am interested in genetics, programming, statistics, machine learning, and entrepreneurship. I have experience writing code in python, R, and javascript.
